It is the morning of the Sangeet. Your phone buzzes before you have finished your chai.
“Which entrance do we use? There are two gates.” “Is parking free, or valet?” “What’s the wifi password?”
You love your guests. But the week you most want to enjoy is also the week you answer the same fifty questions, again and again.
The Questions That Never Stop
Couples and planners tell us the same ones come up at almost every wedding.
Getting there
- Which entrance should we use? Does the baraat come through the same one?
- Is parking public or valet?
- Is there a shuttle, and what does it cost? What is a fair cab or rickshaw fare from the station?
The small stuff that adds up
- What is the wifi password?
- Do you have a tailor’s number? My blouse needs a last-minute fix.
- I left my bag somewhere. Who do I contact?
- Where do I leave the gift?
Food and drink
- Is the food veg, non-veg, or is there a Jain option?
- Is alcohol served?
That last one is trickier than it looks. At many weddings the honest answer is “yes at the reception, no at the ceremony.” A single yes or no would be wrong for one of the two events. Good answers have to be given event by event.
One Link Instead of Fifty Phone Calls
Your Wedding Assistant is one link (or QR code) that you share on WhatsApp or print on the invitation. Guests open it and ask in their own words, in the language they are most comfortable with. There is no app to download and no account to create.
It answers only from what you have shared, such as your schedule, venues, parking, dress code and contacts. Your guests get a quick, clear reply, and you get your week back.
What It Won’t Do (And Why We Say So)
We would rather you know this before you begin.
- It will not guess. If the answer is not in your details, it says so honestly and points the guest to your planner or coordinator.
- It does not know who is asking. Everyone opens the same link and gets the same answers, so personal details like room numbers or seating stay with your planner. The assistant will kindly direct guests to them. It can still share the hotel’s name, address, check-in time and directions.
- There is no guest list to upload. No sign-ins, and no personal details for you to manage. Guests simply ask.
It works best when you add more. Every detail you share is a question you will not be asked.
Keeping It Up to Date Is Simple
Everything lives in a Google Sheet we set up for you, with four tabs: Events, Contacts, FAQs and Notes. Change a venue or a timing, and your guests see the update within about 30 minutes. You can share the Sheet with your planner or family so they can help. No special skills are needed. If you can fill in a spreadsheet, you are done.
Your names, wedding date and link are set when you activate, so give them one last look before you begin.
Try It Before You Decide
The best way to see it is to ask it something yourself. Open the demo, type a question a guest might ask, and see the answer your loved ones would get.
Enjoy your celebration. We will handle the questions.
